We are one of New Zealand’s most successful Ice Figure Skating Clubs, and the largest club in the Auckland area. Our skaters (who come from singles, dance, pairs and synchro backgrounds) predominantly train at Paradice Botany, but we welcome skaters from all across Auckland and the North Island.

We strive to foster the development of skating skills at all competitive levels, including local, regional, national, and international competitions.

As a club we are here to help skaters navigate the transition from skate school to competitive skating. We work with NIISSA (the North Island Ice Skating Sub Assoc) to run ice skating “tests”, hold free development sessions, host our own club competition (Auckland Champs) each July and we also offer fully coached synchronised ice skating sessions for those who prefer a “team” sport.

AIFSC is affiliated to the New Zealand Ice Figure Skating Association who govern the sport in New Zealand. To compete competitively in NZ, skaters must hold a TC registration (a test & competition registration number issued by the NZIFSA and renewed annually) and be a fully paid-up member of a local club, such as AIFSC.

Our club would not be able to function without the generosity of our sponsors. They help our skaters to continue participating in the wonderful sport they are all passionate about.
